Monkeybiz was founded in 2000 by three visionary women to help female artists earn a sustainable income through their creativity. As the afliated NPO of Carrol Boyes, it reected Carrol’s strong commitment to women’s empowerment and supporting female-led businesses.

THE MONKEYBIZ STORY

Monkeybiz is an economic project dedicated to reviving the traditional craft of African beadwork while empowering women to become nancially independent. Since its establishment, Monkeybiz has supported roughly 300 bead artists in continuing to create these unique works of art.
